The Alte Liebe is an investor with viewing platform in the port of Cuxhaven. It is located on the upstream boundary of the Cuxhaven harbor to the fairway of the Lower Elbe. From the investor, the ships leave in the direction of the islands of Neuwerk and Helgoland and to the seal banks.
The building was built in 1733 by the sinking of three disused ships at this point. The ships were surrounded with stakes and filled the spaces with stones and bushes.
