Stara legenda głosi, że dawniej w Mummelsee mieszkały nimfy i krasnoludy, a także król. W noce pełni księżyca nimfy miały przychodzić do Deckerhof w Seebach, aby tam wykonywać prace ręczne, śpiewać i opowiadać wiersze z mieszkańcami.

Nawet dzisiaj nimfy odwiedzają wieczory wiejskie. Oczywiście tylko w towarzystwie swojego surowego ojca, króla Mummelsee.

A very nice, small lake - but unfortunately very crowded. Along the lake there is an art trail.

A really great lake below the Hornisgrinde. You can walk around the lake on a beautiful hiking trail. And discover some highlights. Like the mermaid here.
