Here is the sacred place where Hwarang, the young warriors of Silla Dynasty, trained both bodies and spirits, and in every valley of Nam-san Mountain around here, Buddhas Pagodas and other historical sites are preserved like a dream as the evidence of once brilliant culture of Seorabeol(now Gyeongju).
Silla combined the two other kingdoms, Baegie and Goguryeo, in 660 and in 668 respectively to present the first unified dynasty in Korean history. And the brilliant culture of the three kingdoms were also unified and a gate to the golden age of the Unified Silla Culture was opened.
