Leipalingis Manor is a cultural place that nurtures traditions of the past and history. The Central palace, designed by the famous architect Marcin Knackfus in the beginning of the 19th century, please the eye with symmetry and harmony. Another section, built as an addition by engineer Petras Balinskas in the beginning of the 20th century, is a witness of manor traditions and events of the last century. These days the manor houses Algirdas Volungevičius Museum of Regional Studies.
