Occupied as a home until around 1930 this shelter has quite a history which is detailed on a board inside the door. These shelters are free to use, maintained by the Mountain Bothies Association, with the Landowners' permission. Can have a lot of midges outside in damp summer weather.

The cabin is as described, but there was almost no wood left and the remaining wood was wet (outside under a shelter). So plan to bring dry wood for heating at night.
