The former train station in Kell am See is a beautiful relic from the time when the Ruwertalbahn still ran through the Hunsrück. The building dates from 1891. The railway line was finally shut down almost a hundred years later in 1991. Today the station is a listed building. Both cultural and private events take place here, for example weddings in a special atmosphere.

So I would not go there extra, but it is a beautiful witness of the past, when the track was used as an everyday traffic hub in the region.
