The El Lance viewpoint is one of the most beautiful balconies on the island. From here you can enjoy a spectacular view of the valley of La Orotava.
At the gates of Icod el Alto is the mythical place from where the mencey Bentor threw himself into the void to avoid surrendering to the Castilians at the end of the conquest of the island. For this reason there is a sculpture in his honor located in the viewpoint.
