St. John's Church, Imst
Neo-Romanesque building with Baroque side altars. St. John's Church, which was probably originally a hospital church, is one of the oldest St. John's churches in Tyrol. It was first documented in 1274, when it was largely destroyed by a rockslide. Only the choir of St. John's Church's Gothic structure remains. The church, remodeled in the Baroque style in the 18th century, burned down in 1822 and was later rebuilt in the Neo-Romanesque style. It was rededicated in 1831 in honor of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist.
