The Jewish cemetery of Mutenin / Muttersdorf was no longer on the route planner. So that this place is not forgotten, I have set a highlight again.
A Jewish community had existed in Muttersdorf since 1635. The cemetery at the rear of the Schafberg was built around 1640. The Jewish community in Mutenin died out in 1938 except for one family. She was also murdered during the Holocaust.
The way to the cemetery is marked, except for a junction. It is best to follow the wire fence of a game reserve. It is worth visiting this almost forgotten place.
