      The third-highest mountain in the Palatinate Forest. On the ridge to the east, several old boundary markers and boundary stones can be discovered. The dates 1736, 1756, 1757, 1771, and 1784 were carved into a large sandstone slab during border inspections.

          There is nothing "special" up here on the summit. A small clearing with a trig point and a perch. But no view or anything like that.
          But at least it is the summit of the third highest mountain in the Palatinate Forest.

            The climb is really fun, even if there is no obvious summit cross waiting at the top. And it's nice and quiet. 😊

              The climb to the summit isn't worth it. Only a pile of stones with a wooden cross indicates that you've reached the summit. But since it's the fourth mountain in the "Palatinate Summit Assault" route, it has to be climbed.
              Now I've been up there for once ☝️ and can share my opinion 🤣🤣
