Also called the Mander circles. The circles are the largest landscape artwork in the Netherlands.

The round fields were laid out on the heath of Mander in the 1930s by order of Gerhard Jannink, textile manufacturer and large land owner from Enschede. He had seen in North America that round fields had advantages over rectangular ones. The fields could be worked from the center in a spiral corridor so that the machines did not have to turn. Popularly also called the bra or breasts of Jannink.

You can also find similar circles in England, among others. The manufacturer will either be the first to use this method of plowing or he has reinvented the wheel (seen this method of plowing on his travels abroad and applied it in Vasse, on his estate) ?!
