The estate was given to the knight Michel von Konigsegg for his faithful service to the Teutonic Order in 1476. The estate then passed into the hands of successive owners Bronsart, Kreyyzen, Egloffstein, von Ludinghausen. In 1927, the estate was divided into parcels. In the 21st century, part of the manor burned down and only one wing remained, which is inhabited by several families.
