                  This is a tributary of the Taugwitz that rises here. It is one of the few places on the Rennsteig where you cross a stream.

                  In May 2024, when the spring was bubbling well next to the cap, I drank about half a liter and didn't get into any trouble.

                  The new Frankenwald Kobach trekking site is not far away. About 100 m along the Rennsteig to the north and then a short stretch to the west, slightly uphill.
