Münden Nature Park is located in the district of Göttingen, southern Lower Saxony (Germany).
The almost 374 km² large and densely wooded nature park, founded in 1959 by the now dissolved district of Münden, extends not quite from the eastern city limits of Kassel and thus the border to Hesse in a northerly direction through the northern part of the Kaufunger Forest via Hann. Münden up to the Bramwald and Dransfeld city forest.
It lies to the south, east and north-east of the confluence of the Fulda and Werra to form the Weser and abuts the Frau-Holle-Land geo-nature park (Werratal.Meißner.Kaufunger Wald) to the south and south-east.
It is crossed by the A7.
The Staufenberg glider airfield is located on the Großer Staufenberg.
