Hiking on the Maddensville Pike (475) is ill advised, but thankfully the Standing Stone Trail takes you off the pike and onto Meadow Gap Road after less than a quarter mile. The trail association is working to improve sections of the route, so it is possible that this section may change to be more amenable to hikers in the next couple years.
