Located on the Oberförster-Jahn-Weg. This way could be signposted even better. It was irritating that the trail signs only point to Hellerau, but do not explain the other directions.

Memorial stele for Senior Forester Karl Jahn unveiled on November 24, 2013
The text on the bronze memorial plaque reads:
"Senior Forester KARL JAHN – 1938 – 1945, Forest Master at the Margonin Forestry School, 1958 – 1975 Senior Forester of the Dresden Heath. With his heart and mind, he inspired many nature enthusiasts in the forest. With the creation of the landscape conservation area in 1968, his efforts for the permanent preservation of the Dresden and Young Heath were fulfilled. In 1970, he was awarded the Golden Badge of Honor by the
Nature Conservation Administration of the GDR. Until 1996, he maintained close ties with the foresters and friends of the heath.
