The toboggan hill is 126 meters above sea level in the north of the city Recklinghausen. From there you can see the Dortmund and Bochum skyline with a good view to the south.

I'm standing in front of the hill, a mountain that looks like a slag heap, but it isn't.
The hill was created in the 1960s as a dumping ground for excavated soil and for material from individual demolition projects in the city center. At 123 meters, the Rodelberg in Recklinghausen is the highest point in the city, a popular destination for cyclists and walkers.
