Low Soeren estate dates from the eighteenth century. In the nineteenth century, Pieter Nicolaas Jut van Breukelerwaard established a bathing establishment for medicinal baths here. This spa was the first in the Netherlands and enjoyed international fame. The Priesnitz monument (tower of Jut) has been erected for this purpose on Priesnitzlaan. The estate also housed Huis Laag-Soeren, the later Hotel Dullemond, of which only a ruin remains.
Several water-powered paper mills used to be located on the sprinkling streams. Later these water mills were converted into laundry.

The Laag-Soeren Estate is located on the edge of the Veluwezoom National Park.
This former bathhouse with its rich history now houses 50 luxury apartments.
The oldest part of this complex was built in 1849.
The most recent part in 2007.
The first hydrotherapy bathhouse was located here between 1870 and 1942, after the war it was a holiday resort for employees of the Amsterdam Bank, later ABN.
The Transcendental Meditation Group was located here between 1980 and 2000.
The complex was then restored and new construction was carried out, resulting in 50 apartments.
