The weir system, turbine hall and guard house of this power plant have been preserved to this day largely as they were built in 1903/04. The turbine hall with its Art Nouveau façade is protected as a technical monument and the wrought iron fittings on its entrance door show how elaborately industrial buildings were designed at that time.

The Art Nouveau façade of the turbine hall is an architectural gem and is protected as a technical monument. Original wrought iron elements in the entrance door demonstrate the elaborate design of industrial buildings at the beginning of the 20th century. To the left of the power plant, a rafting lane once allowed rafters to pass through. A fish ladder was also built at that time. The former mill in Lengers was converted into a hydroelectric power plant in 1904 to supply electricity to the potash mines. The mill, which had existed for centuries, was demolished to build the power plant. The newly constructed power plant complex, consisting of the massive weir system, the turbine hall, and a guard's house, has been almost entirely preserved in its original form to this day. The complex was renovated in 2005. An information panel commemorates the history of the plant.
