The building was erected on its present site in the 15th century and has been renovated several times since. The castle itself is not open to the public as it is a private residence, but the beautiful, old, and architecturally designed castle garden is well worth a visit for anyone who enjoys strolling in the fresh air.

Palsgaard Castle is a beautiful manor house steeped in history, located on the Juelsminde peninsula between Snaptun and Juelsminde. The castle itself is privately owned and therefore not open to the public, but the surrounding park is one of the largest in Denmark and is open to visitors.

Palsgaard's history dates back to the 13th century. The buildings were originally located about 1.5 kilometers from their current site. In the 15th century, the castle was built at its present location and has been renovated several times since.

The park covers 31 hectares and offers many opportunities for walks and exploration. There is also a small visitor center where you can learn more about the history of the site.
