Jagala is a waterfall on the river of the same name in Estonia, Harju County, Jõelähtme parish, 4 kilometers from the confluence of the river into the Gulf of Finland, 25 kilometers east of Tallinn. The height of the waterfall is about 8 meters and the width is about 50 m. Thus, it is one of the largest waterfalls in Estonia.

Very beautiful waterfall, like a curtain in front of the rock face! You can see it from both banks, a path leads along the interesting spots. Today it was easy to cross the river above the waterfall, with enough distance from the edge of the rock.

The waterfall was popularly called Joarüngas. It was probably a cult site in pre-Christian times. A water mill was first mentioned in documents around 1240, and can still be found on a map from 1688. From 1917 until shortly after the end of the Second World War, a power station and a cellulose factory stood near the waterfall.
The waterfall and the surrounding area were part of the locations chosen by Andrei Tarkovsky for his 1978 film Stalker.
