                Tucked away in the romantic Zschopau Valley is the former Tannenhauer upholstery fabric weaving mill. Built around 1800 and listed as a historic monument, this industrial building houses the Historical Weaving Mill, a technical museum and monument to architecture and production history. In the partially original production halls, you can relive the entire production process of a weaving mill using classic weaving techniques. Using numerous, sometimes unique, exhibits of textile technology, we demonstrate the entire workflow, from thread to finished fabric.
