Constructed in 1869, the Pensacola Lighthouse stands across from the National Naval Aviation Museum. With a total of 177 steps, the lighthouse offers great views of the surrounding beaches from above. Visitors can also check out the Richard C. Callaway Museum, which features exhibits on local history as well as the lighthouse's own history. The Pensacola Lighthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
