      The stones are in their element in the green Veluwe. They populate an open field, lie under a tree, flatter against each other or cluster with their peers.
      These carefully crafted stones have remained stone. The artworks are composed of raw and polished stones. Stones with a thick weathered impenetrable skin and exposed stones showing their hearts. The shapes are simple, brut (rough) as they are found in nature or the quarry or rounded as a river forms them.
      In this case, artist Adri Verhoeven (1952) is responsible for that form.

            "We meet at this crossing "KUDDE", the first of several works by Adri Verhoeven; created in 2010 as a Veluwe project Groene Blaadjes, Oude Stenen.
            "Green leaves, ancient stones".
            Rock formations that populate the Veluwe landscape.
            When you see them, you briefly wonder whether they could be remnants of a very young Ice Age. If you take a closer look, you realize that there must have been a guiding hand. The stones are in their element on the green Veluwe. They populate an open field, lie under a tree, flatter each other, or team up with their peers.
            These carefully crafted stones have remained stone. The works of art consist of raw and polished stones. Stones with thick weathered impenetrable skin and exposed stones showing their heart. The shapes are simple, bold as in nature or in a quarry, or rounded as a river shapes them.(…)
            The route goes from Ede to Otterlo, where the entrance to the Hoge Veluwe National Park is located.
            The route runs along nodes 65, 64, 63 to 84. The distance from the starting points to node 84 is about 13 km. So you will encounter a work of art every 1.5 km.
            If you continue the route according to the route map, the total distance is 30 km.”
