In 1976 the church received a new coat of paint on the inside and new plaster on the outside.
In 1985, with the help of Pastor Bardo Haus, the church received a new wooden nativity scene and in 1986 an impressive Stations of the Cross.

On November 25, 1863, the Catholic church at Bahnhofstrasse 12, in Armsheim, built as a hall, was inaugurated by Bishop Ketteler. Construction began in 1862 and the foundation stone was laid. Pastor Ludwig Hermes looked after the parish at that time. The site was donated to the parish by Johann Faust for half of its value. Ancestors said that many people from the village helped to build their long-awaited church. For example, stones had to be unloaded from the horse-drawn carts.

In 1917 the church received two Gothic altars, the high altar in honor of Saint Remigius and the Mother of God altar on All Saints' Day. Two bells were cast in 1863 by Georg Hamm from Kaiserslautern. The large bell was brought in to be melted down during World War II. In 1955 it was replaced. The organ in the gallery, with 14 registers, by Johann Schaad from Waldlaubersheim was built in 1873 and cost 275.47 guilders. The organ was restored again in 1952 and 2020."
