Aitkin is a progressive city in Minnesota. Its city center takes on the appearance of a western in places.
Nostalgic, do not miss going to see a film at the Rialto cinema located on Minesota avenue. This building originally screened silent films in the early 20th century. It was then modernized and rebuilt in 1936. It was built according to the fashion of the time, namely art deco. Three different rooms existed to see the same film: one for men where you could smoke, one for women called the powdered room and one for families, where children could shout as loud as they wanted without disturbing the other spectators.
