The beach is getting more narrow on this eastern end, but naviable at low tide with wide-enough tires. There are some pleasant sections, interspersed with beaches maintained a bit cleaner by hotels and restaurants, such as this German-run Palm Rock Beach hotel. One of the few occasions in West Africa for authentic German food and beer, if you so desire.
