About 1800 meters of the seven meter high wall are still preserved. On a path on the outside of the wall you can completely go around the old town. The city wall only has gaps in some sections. Stork tower and powder tower are still preserved

The medieval city wall in Müncheberg almost completely encloses the city center. Construction began in 1319. With a length of 1,800 m and an original height of 6 to 7 m, it was the most important part of the medieval defense system. In addition, the city was protected by two city gates, each secured by two defense towers and a front gate each with a drawbridge, and together with 27 soft houses in the wall and a system of ditches and ramparts.
The two city gates were the only entrances to the city. On a path on the outside of the wall you can completely go around the old town. Two information boards on the promenade at the entrance to the Waschbanksee provide information about the history of the Müncheberg city wall.
