From the signposted Thur hiking trail, you have to walk a little further south along the main road south of Germer to the information board with the Giessen Falls. Here a narrow, steep path, partially secured by wire, leads down to the pool into which the highest of the Giessen falls pours. Worthwhile effort!

A small parking lot with a bank can be reached via the main road. There is a small vantage point from there, but there is also a path to the waterfall itself.
This T3 path requires skill and gloves are preferred for the wire rope to get down, but the effort is worth it!
