The Okólny Ług Reserve was established in 2001. The purpose of its existence is to preserve the habitats of a transitional peat bog. The largest peat bog in the Kozienicka Forest is located here. The area of the reserve is a habitat for many species of animals, e.g. dragonflies, butterflies, pond turtles, black storks, hobbies and cranes.
Protected plants: sundews, marsh cranberries, common marsh, sedges.
The area of the reserve in the Forest District is 25.98 ha.
