The domain of the castle of Mombeek is private, but you can see the castle well.

Quote: "Mombeek used to be an important and extensive fief, inhabited by the banner lords, the commanders of the Hasselt city army. The first lord of the castle was Geeraerd, who was already mentioned in 1147 as a liege lord from the Loonse country. the past has often been the scene of violent events, with or without death. At the root of these conflicts were inheritance issues or debts."
