The steamers "Warmland" and "Ethel Horatio" ran aground and went
on February 17, 1900 and December 5, 1888 under.
South of breakwater 36 lies the wreck of the great Swedish
sche steamship "Warmland" in 7 m water depth with the stem
right up into the mole stones and out towards the aft end

The ship had 1643 GRT and was en route from Hull, England
to Helsingborg loaded with coal. On board were 18 men and
two women. Three men arrived in a ship's own boat
country, the remaining 18 people were rescued by the Flyvholmer Ret-
tung boat recovered.

Horatio". The ship ran aground on December 5, 1888 en route from
Sunderland to Wismar loaded with coal. The entire crew
of 16 men was brought ashore by the Flyvholm lifeboat. Salvage ships attempted a salvage after the accident,
but as so often, another storm prevented this. He smashed that
ship to wreck.
