The ruined structure, a brick hall church approximately 55 meters long, consists of a three-aisled nave and a three-aisled chancel. After the destruction of 1945, the outer walls, the pillars and arcades of the nave, the interior walls of the chancel, and the rectangular tower (14 by 9 meters), which had six stories before its destruction, survived. The tower was recently renovated and received a flat temporary roof in place of the war-damaged onion dome.
The southern aisle of the chancel is now used as a chapel.
