The Villach City Museum, housed in an old town house in the city center, the Palais Crusiz, was founded in 1873 and has always offered numerous exhibits on around 700 m2 that allow a look back into the past. You shouldn't miss the popular branch of the museum, the relief of Carinthia in Villach's Schiller Park.
In the city museum itself, which is open from the beginning of May to the end of October, you will find a comprehensive insight into the history, art and culture of the city and the Villach area. Every year the museum dedicates itself to a special topic and shows a special exhibition. The special exhibition “WARM BATH – bathing continues!” can currently be admired.

The museum also includes the Villach parish tower, which, at 94 m high, is the highest church tower in Carinthia and therefore offers a wonderful view of the city and the surrounding area as well as the relief of Carinthia.
