Magnificent! Nearly 850 umbrellas hang in the centre of Laon. A magnificent painting that will remain hanging all summer long. For three summers in a row now ('18, '19 and '20).
Since Tuesday, the inhabitants of the upper town have been walking under a truly colourful ceiling: hundreds of umbrellas hang in the air above the Rue Châtelaine. This is the "Umbrella Sky" project desired by the town hall.
Many curious people will be able to enjoy this show this weekend, on the occasion of the Middle Ages. At night, hanging lights illuminate the facility, which will be dismantled at the end of the summer.
The aim of the town hall: to brighten up the upper town and attract people!
