Heidweiler, Heidweiler community
description
Reference 94
Extensive Roman settlement in the forest south-southwest of Heidweiler. During road construction and excavation work, Roman masonry was repeatedly exposed here in the 20th century. Remnants of white wall plaster with green painting are remarkable. Probably villa rustica.
