The Louka Monastery (German Klosterbruck) is a former Premonstratensian monastery.

Instead of a chapel founded by Judith von Wittelsbach in 1048 or 1056 [1], Duke Konrad Otto II of Bohemia and his mother Maria founded a monastery in 1190, which they gave to the Premonstratensians, provided they had plenty of resources. The monastery has been looted several times throughout its history.

The monastery was dissolved in 1784, the monastery building was then used as a tobacco factory, military academy and finally as barracks until the 20th century. However, the church worth seeing remained a parish. Today the monastery is used by the wine producer Znovín Znojmo as a visitor center and wine museum and can be visited. The oldest preserved organ in Moravia is in the St. Wenceslas Church.

A major renovation is currently taking place.
