The view from above through the Torstein is awesome, the Felsentor is a highlight in the Lauchagrund. Whether it was artificially expanded by a blast is suspected, but not certain.

The natural Torstein porphyry bridge is one of the special highlights in Lauchagrund near Bad Tabarz. The climb up to the Torstein and the view from above through the archway is phenomenal.

The castle site of the spur castle rises on a small 566 m above sea level rocky spur of the Kleiner Wagenberg, about 80 m above the Lauchagrund.

A really great place and worth seeing. There is a mountain path over the Wagenberg and it leads up or down here. Personally, I prefer to go uphill here, it's better if you're afraid of heights. You have to be sure-footed and careful - it's really steep. If you're unsure, it's better to come from above and go back the same way. From the Torstein you have a great view of the Aschenbergstein opposite.
