Worth seeing! The reformed church in Luven in the Foppa is an evangelical-reformed church under the protection of historical monuments of the canton of Grisons. It was last restored in 1996.
A church under the patronage of St. Stephan at the present location is attested in 765, already 744 if the sources are uncertain. Even in pre-Reformation times, a new building was built in 1510 in the late Gothic style, which integrated the old Romanesque tower. This later received its distinctive red onion topping. The baptismal font in the center of the choir in the partially baroque church interior dates back to the 14th century. The open Bible with the initials A and O, laid out on a pulpit or baptismal font, in the coat of arms of Luven commemorates the adoption of the Reformation in the village in 1526.
