Hello my love,

the hiking break has been extended and "Aunt Emma in the garden" has moved in - a fridge that will gladly surprise you with cold drinks after your hike ... and if you're lucky, there will also be cake in the fridge :-) We are very grateful and happy about so many dear hikers who visit our little paradise and leave us so much love ... it's a gift <3 I'll be happy to tell you how this place came about - stop by, maybe I'll be there .. . Every detour is worth it. It really is a place to feel good!!! Great places to sit. Well-maintained grounds. There is very tasty cake, even several varieties to choose from. There are also play areas for children. We walked the P2 in such a way that we were looking forward to the hiking break the whole way and it was really worth it! It's great that this hiking break exists in this form!!!

Today I ran the P2 / Frankershäuser Karst for the second time and was curious to see whether the hiking break would also be in winter. And there are Christmas arrangements on the tables, more beautiful than ever, decorated for Christmas. Great, there is hardly anything so beautiful in this world, thanks for that.

Fantastically lovingly furnished garden cafe with self-service ... delicious home-baked cakes, hot and cold drinks and lovely painted stones to flatter the hand ... for children a swing, an egg station and a funny four-poster bed. A very nice surprise on the wonderful premium hiking trail 2 'Frankershausen Karst'.

Lovingly furnished self-service garden restaurant on the outskirts of Wolfterode. Delicious self-baked cakes from the refrigerated counter, coffee, tea to cook yourself, cold drinks and many small decorative pieces with attention to detail. The hand-flattering stones with a heart are particularly pretty as a gift to take away.

Beautiful place to stay. An oasis for hikers has been lovingly created here, where you can fortify yourself with coffee, tea, cold drinks and cake. There are also homemade sweets and hand-painted lucky stones. You can take the latter with you for a small donation. All with self-service and payment based on trust. Not many would do that. The owners seem to have a big heart. Will definitely visit this highlight again during the day. Thank you for this great place. 🏝️🫶🏻

The most beautiful hiking break in the region. Coffee, fresh, home-baked cakes, cold drinks - all self-service. Also for children a very nice and by no means boring place. Water bowls are available for dogs.
