    Hindahl's cross is romantically framed by tall ash trees and chestnuts, commemorating the death of a young girl from the nearby Dumberghof. It was donated by Bernhard Hindahl in 1886. The adjacent forest area bears the name “Am Großen
    God ". Even today the place of the cross is called" Am grauten Guot "in Low German.
