Part of the route that I found more difficult. The constant climbing up and down costs more energy than expected and supplies are not available. Beautiful landscapes, that is.

Tough surfaces throughout this section, heavy loose gravel and rock. Mainly in amongst canyons and bluffs. Had some tyre burp issues here, some short testing and technical climbing and rough descents.

As Erwinsikkens indicates, this is the toughest part between Anmitter and Ghassate. Especially my girlfriend on her gravel bike with 44mm tires had to walk several times on this part (with luggage). Wider tires are nice here, especially when you have some luggage with you. A beautiful part to cycle. I was on 50mm tires and a mtb, that was easier to do. After this part, the route gets a lot better on both sides.
