White sandy beach as far as the eye can see. The front rows of dunes are just a 3-minute walk from the center and from there you can look out over the North Sea and the beach at any time of year.
On the beach in Søndervig there is plenty of space for children to build sandcastles and
the adults to relax and swim. Here you don't lie "like a herring in a fish tin" even on a sunny day. The beach is long and wide with many bunkers scattered along the shore.

The beach is never the same but changes from day to day. A storm from the west can change the beach in the space of a few hours and the waves wash amber, chicken gods, mussel shells and other interesting things onto the beach.
In the summer months, from Easter to the end of the autumn holidays, it is possible to reach the beach via a wooden structure. This makes it easier for people with walking difficulties, wheelchair users and strollers to get to the beach and feel the sand between their toes.
