The Feldkahler Chapel stands in an open field in the middle of the Kahlgrund on the Erlenbacher Höhe in the district of Feldkahl, between Rottenberg and Erlenbach. It is located at about 300 m at the foot of the Klosterberg (382 m) directly on the "Degen" hiking trail.
The building was built in 1991 by the chapel association. Inside there is a wooden carved Madonna and four memorial plaques for the fallen. A Stations of the Cross were erected in the area around the building.
