The Wagbach lowlands are a nature reserve in the Northern Upper Rhine lowlands and Hardt plains natural area in Baden-Württemberg.
Bird species such as cormorants, ducks, Canada geese, swans, coots, great crested grebes, grey herons, great egrets, purple herons, gull species (especially black-headed gulls), reed warblers, warblers, bearded tits, red-backed shrikes, cuckoos and kingfishers can be observed in the nature reserve. Amphibians (water frogs, common frogs, toad species) are also found, as are reptiles such as grass snakes. Among mammals, muskrat and nutria are found.
