The Gorges du Verdon have been carved out by the Verdon River for millennia. It is the largest canyon in Europe offering breathtaking views of cliffs, turquoise water and whitewater rapids. With luck, you can spot vultures circling the cliffs!
Sentier Des Pêcheurs: Beautiful path past the waterfall down to the Verdon. Opportunity to swim and have a picnic.😊😊
Walkable with good surefootedness, as there is a lot of loose rock on the way.
This tour, in French "Route de pecheur" was closed on 1.10.2017 according to sign on the parking lot Olivierpass, apparently for longer.
Before the tour inquire if accessible again!
