Lille Norge, little Norway, is one of the most beautiful natural areas between Blokhus and Løkken and is located in a hilly area, in the dunes by the sea.
Lille Norge is a somewhat steep glacial valley, from the post-ice age, which was created by the Littorina transgression. The slope is made of clay, but it is covered with sand brought in by water and wind.
According to tradition, the name, little Norway, comes from a Norwegian captain who was homesick and said that in the sunset he could see an image of the Norwegian mountains on the steep slopes of Lille Norge.
The entire valley is under nature protection.
