The manor house dates from the 18th century and was built in the baroque style. Later it was changed in the Art Nouveau style in the 20th century. it is very nicely renovated. Today there is a kindergarten there.

The current place name Großwig derives from the Slavic word "Grusa" (= pear or Birnheim) from, so the settlement is of Slavic origin.
The street fishing village was particularly characterized by the manor, in which the local residents found work as day laborers.
To date, the manor house has been preserved, which is now the day care center.
