The Long private property, open to visitors, is located in the heart of the Somme between Abbeville and Amiens. Listed as a historical monument, the building dates back to the first half of the 18th century and features Louis XV-style architecture made entirely of pink bricks and white stones.
The Castle of Long has the form of a rectangular central main building with a mansard roof with very beautiful sculptures and paintings by Huet inside. The site is surrounded by a magnificent park of about twenty hectares, with French cut shrubs, greenhouses and a listed washhouse, an 18th century dovecote, an orangery and cooler, a six hectare pond, outbuildings or a four Hectares of wood. Very beautiful statues also mark the alleys, which are perfect for strolling. (France Voyage)
