The Zallinger is very nice, but is also often very crowded. It is worth to stop before the summit storm to Tierser Alpl and to recharge the power reserves - you need them afterwards!

For a MTB tour starting at the mountain station of the Ortisei cable car, a well-located hut to stop off at Nice large outdoor terrace, good cuisine, friendly hospitality. Diverse storage options for bikes. Nice view towards the back of the rose garden.
